This policy explains what the PropertyPredator browser extension (the "Extension") does with data. It is deliberately short because the Extension is built to collect as little as possible.
When you view a property listing on a supported website (Rightmove, Zoopla, OnTheMarket), the Extension reads the page in your browser to identify the property's location and basic attributes, and shows you our free market intelligence (sold-price comparables, area price context, planning/risk flags, registered owner and covenant information from public records).
Only the minimal facts needed to run the analysis are sent to our server (propertypredator.com): the property's postcode or place name, and where shown on the page, the asking price, number of bedrooms, property type and floor area.
We do not receive, store, or republish the listing's photos, description, agent details or any other page content. We are augmenting your own view of a page you chose to open — not copying the site.
If you sign in through the Extension to use paid features (e.g. a live valuation), your email and password are sent over HTTPS to our authentication service solely to log you in. We store a session token locally in your browser's extension storage so you stay signed in. We never sell or share your credentials.
To produce the analysis we query public and licensed data services (including HM Land Registry open data and postcode lookup services). Only the property's location and attributes are sent to these lookups — never your identity.
Requests are processed to return your result and are not used to build a profile of you. Account data is retained for as long as you have a PropertyPredator account; delete your account to remove it.
