Photo Locator

Where was that?

Every photo you take of a building, a plot, a For-Sale board carries its GPS coordinates baked in. Drop those photos here and we pull the location straight back out — the spot on the map, the postcode, and one tap through to Google Maps or a full X-Ray. No more "I saw a great site somewhere near…". Free, and your photos never leave your device — the location is read right here in your browser.

📸 Tap — or drop — your photos. Originals from a phone camera, not screenshots (JPEG works best).
Nothing loaded yet.
GPS is read from each photo's EXIF metadata in your browser — accurate to roughly a few metres outdoors, but only if location was on when the photo was taken and the file is the original (screenshots, WhatsApp/Instagram re-saves and many social downloads strip it). Coordinates are sent to a public postcode service only to name the nearest postcode; the images themselves stay on your device.
