Affiliate Programme Terms
Version: 2026-10-23 · In force from 23 October 2026
The short version. You share your own link. When an account you referred pays us,
you earn a percentage of what it actually paid: 30% to start, rising to 35% and then 40% as
your referred sales grow, plus a team commission on sales by affiliates you recruit. A payment
that is refunded or disputed earns nothing. We pay by hand each month once you are owed at
least £25, you have accepted these terms and you have saved your payout details. Be honest
and say clearly that you earn commission. Earnings vary and are never guaranteed.
These terms are between you and us. "We", "us" and "our" mean the company that runs
PropertyPredator; its name, registered number and contact details are in section 1 of our
Terms of Service. "You" means the person or company taking part in
the programme. Our Terms of Service continue to apply to your
PropertyPredator account; where they deal with the affiliate programme, these terms apply
instead.
1. Who can join
- Anyone with a PropertyPredator account can join. You must be at least 18, as our Terms of
Service already require for an account. Your plan does not matter: a free account, a paid
plan and access we have given you free of charge all join in the same way, and your plan does
not change your commission rate.
- You join on the affiliate page by ticking "I accept the
Affiliate Programme Terms" and pressing the join button. Your acceptance is recorded with the
version shown at the top of this page.
- We may also enrol you on your behalf, for example as part of a mentoring programme we run.
Commission is then recorded for you from the day you are enrolled, but we pay nothing until
you have accepted these terms on your affiliate dashboard.
- Each account can hold one membership, with one link at a time.
2. Your link
- Your dashboard shows your link, in the form
propertypredator.com/?ref=yourcode.
- You can ask for a custom link such as
propertypredator.com/your-name: 3 to 24
letters, digits or hyphens. We refuse, or reject on review, a code that is offensive, uses
another company's name or ours, or clashes with one of our own pages. A code we accept can go
live straight away while we review it. If we reject it, your link goes back to your previous
code.
- When your code changes, your old link stops working. Accounts already attached to you stay
yours, but someone who clicked your old link and has not yet signed in or created an account is
no longer attributed to you. Update your link wherever you have shared it.
3. How a referral is attributed to you
- When someone opens your link, your code is saved in their web browser. It has no expiry
date: it stays in that browser until they open another affiliate's link there (the most recent
link wins) or clear the browser's stored site data.
- The account is attached to you the next time that browser is used to create a
PropertyPredator account or sign in on our sign-in page. Only the browser where your link was
opened counts: if someone opens your link on their phone and signs up on a laptop, the account
is not attributed to you.
- Each account has one referrer, for ever. Once an account is attached to an affiliate it is
never moved to another one. An account that already existed is attached to you only if it does
not yet have a referrer.
- Your own account can never be attached to your own link: self-referral is refused.
- If you think an account should have been attributed to you, tell us through the feedback
button on your dashboard. We will look into it, but we can only attribute accounts in the way
this section describes.
4. Commission
What earns commission. Every payment that an account attached to you makes
to us: a subscription bought at checkout and every automatic renewal of it, for as long as the
account keeps paying (an annual plan earns commission on the full year's payment, which is paid
up front), and Deal Reports, lookup-credit top-up packs and letter-credit packs bought at
checkout. A payment for changing plan part-way through a billing period does not earn
commission.
On what amount. Commission is a percentage of the amount the customer
actually paid for that payment: after any discount or credit applied at checkout, including any
VAT we charged, and before any payment-processing fee. It is rounded to the nearest penny.
Nothing paid, nothing earned. An account that uses PropertyPredator without
paying us (on the free plan, or with access we give free of charge) earns you nothing, however
much it is used. Accounts referred by you may be offered an introductory discount or bonus lookup
credits when they sign up; commission is on what they actually pay.
Your rate
- Your lifetime referred sales are the total of the payments made by accounts attached to you
directly on which commission was recorded for you. A payment that is later refunded or disputed
still counts towards your rank, although its commission is reversed (section 6). Sales by your
team do not count towards your own rank.
- The rate for each payment is set when the payment is recorded, from your lifetime referred
sales before it. Reaching a higher rank raises the rate on later payments; it never changes
commission already recorded.
5. Team commission (one level only)
- If an account attached to you (section 3) later joins the programme itself, it joins your
team.
- On each payment made by an account that a member of your team referred directly, you earn a
team commission on top of their own commission, paid by us: 10% of the amount the customer
paid, rising to 12% once you have 5 active recruits and 15% once you have 10. The rate is set
when the payment is recorded.
- An active recruit is an affiliate on your team who has referred at least one payment on which
commission was recorded for them, even if that payment was later refunded or disputed or their own
membership has since ended.
- If a member of your team leaves or their membership ends, you keep earning team commission on
payments by the accounts they referred, for as long as you are a member yourself.
- It goes one level only: you earn nothing on payments referred by your recruits' own
recruits. Recruiting earns nothing by itself. Team commission only ever comes from a real
customer payment.
6. Refunds and disputes
- No commission is payable on a payment that is refunded, in full or in part, or disputed
with the customer's card issuer or bank (an inquiry or a chargeback).
- When our payment processor tells us of the refund or dispute, the commission on that
payment is reversed, and so is any team commission on it. Commission not yet paid is cancelled.
Commission already paid is recovered: the same amount is deducted from the commission you earn
later.
- A reversal stands even if the dispute is later decided in our favour.
- If a refund we were told of fails or is cancelled, so that the customer did not get the money
back, the commission it reversed is reinstated. Where that payment was also disputed or refunded
again, or the amount recovered has already been deducted from a payout, we check it by hand.
- A refund or dispute made before these terms came into force on 23 October 2026 cancels
commission on that payment that had not been paid, but commission already paid on it is not
recovered.
- We match a refund or dispute to its payment automatically, and by hand when we cannot. Your
dashboard shows the total reversed, and each reversed or recovered entry appears in your list of
recent commission.
- If deductions come to more than you are owed, the difference is carried forward and recovered
from commission you earn later.
7. Payouts
- We pay commission by hand, once a month, in pounds sterling, by PayPal or bank transfer to
the payout details you saved.
- Before we pay you anything, you must have accepted these terms and saved your payout details
on your dashboard.
- The minimum payout is £25. If what you are owed (commission due, less any
recovery under section 6) is under £25, it carries forward to a later month. When your
membership ends for a reason other than a breach (section 11), we pay what you are owed even if
it is under £25.
- Your dashboard shows what you are owed, what has been paid and what has been reversed.
- If your account is outside the UK, your bank or payment provider may convert the payment and
charge its own fees. Those costs are yours.
8. Your payout details
- To be paid you give us: your full legal name (or your company's registered name), the
country you or the company are based in, whether you are paid as an individual or a company
(with the company's registration number), and the PayPal account, or the UK bank account
(account holder's name, sort code and account number) or non-UK bank account (account holder's
name, IBAN and the bank's country, and BIC if you have one), to pay into.
- You must confirm that the payout account is in your own name, or your company's. That
declaration is part of your payout details and is required before any payout.
- Saving details does not verify who owns the account. Keep your PropertyPredator login secure
and keep your details up to date: we pay to the details saved at the time of the payout.
9. Tax and VAT
- You take part as an independent business or individual, not as our employee, agent or
partner. Commission is your income: you are responsible for declaring it and paying any tax or
National Insurance due on it. We do not deduct tax from payouts.
- The commission shown on your dashboard is the full amount we pay: we do not add VAT to it.
If you are registered for VAT, tell us before your first payout and send us a VAT invoice for
each payout; the amount we pay then includes the VAT you charge us.
10. How you must promote PropertyPredator
- Say you earn commission. Make the commercial relationship obvious before or
with every promotion, for example "#ad — I earn a commission if you buy through this link". A
profile biography or a disclosure seen only after someone engages is not enough.
- No misleading claims. Describe only the features, prices and offers shown on
PropertyPredator at the time. Do not promise any result, return, saving or income. Do not present
an estimate as a fact. Use only experiences and results that are genuinely yours.
- No spam. Do not send messages, emails or texts to people who have not agreed
to hear from you, and follow the marketing and data protection rules that apply to you.
- No bidding on our name. Do not bid on "PropertyPredator", or a misspelling or
variation of it, as a keyword in paid search or social advertising, and do not use it in a domain
name, an advert's display address or an account name that could be mistaken for ours.
- No self-dealing. Do not earn commission on your own purchases, on accounts
you control or on purchases made for you, and do not pay or reward anyone to buy through your
link.
- Do not suggest that you are PropertyPredator or speak for us. Use our name only to refer to
PropertyPredator, and our logo and graphics only as the Brand Kit and Graphics tabs of your
affiliate dashboard provide them: do not alter the logo or present your own material as
ours.
11. Ending your membership
- You can leave at any time by emailing
support@propertypredator.com.
- We can end your membership straight away if you break these terms, and for
any other reason by giving you 30 days' notice. We tell you by email.
- When your membership ends, your link stops attributing anyone and no commission is recorded
for you on payments made after the end, including team commission. Whether a payment was made
before or after the end is judged by when the customer paid, as our payment processor records
it. If you are on someone's team, they keep earning team commission on payments by the accounts
you referred (section 5).
- If you left, or we ended your membership for a reason other than a breach, what you are owed
is paid with the next monthly payout, even if it is under £25, once you have accepted these terms
and saved your payout details.
- If we ended your membership because you broke these terms, commission not yet paid is
cancelled and is not paid, including commission on a payment made before the end that is
recorded after it, and we pay you nothing more.
12. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms, including the rates. We will tell you at least 30 days before a
change takes effect, by email and on your dashboard, and the version at the top of this page will
change. Commission recorded before a change keeps the rate it was recorded at. If you do not
accept a change, you can leave before it takes effect (section 11). If you stay, the new version
applies to you from then on.
13. Your data and your referrals' data
To run the programme and pay you we hold your membership record (your link, when you joined,
the version of these terms you accepted and when, and, if your membership ends, when and why), the
commission recorded for you, and your payout details with the declaration in section 8. Our
Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data and your rights. You
see no personal details of the customers you refer. Your team list shows your recruits' email
addresses in shortened, masked form only.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales
have jurisdiction.
